“Jypography,” physically formed from recycled jeans and denim clothing, is sewn together to create a visual re-telling of its history.
The collection of typography is a vehicle to communicate the origins of denim through various brands and styles, which have changed and evolved over time. It is not a sequential narrative, rather a blend of history unifying a timeline, alluding to the repeating of trend cycles and denim’s longevity.
